I had to see 3 doctors before any diagnosis was made. i have been noticing blood appearing from my rectum for a while now. I am finally going to try and go to the doctor this week, until now i have been too embarrased to say anything. My aunty died from bowel cancer around the age of 40 and my grandmother also had it, but they managed to remove it. I'm pretty sure my mum has had polyps removed and my dad is going in for a colonoscopy as well. I am absolutely terrified, and am worried the doctors will brush me off cause of my age. i live on the gold coast and was wondering if there is any doctors i should be seeing that specialise in this area.
